Gateway to the Adirondack Park

The Lodge is located in upstate New York, at the gateway to the magnificent Adirondack Park, where the first reserve of its kind was created. The park boasts over 6.1 million acres of land, including more than 10,000 lakes, 30,000 miles of rivers and streams, and a wide variety of habitats including wetlands and old-growth forests.

So Much to Do and See

This Lodge has lake and river access and has some of the most memorable kayak, canoe, and hiking excursions that the Adirondacks have to offer. September and October are exciting times at The Lodge. It is a popular destination for nature and wildlife photographers with its lovely wilderness settings, including scenic lakes, mountains, and rivers. Paddleboarding, canoeing, and kayaking are within walking distance of the West Branch of the Sacandaga River. “The Lodge” is also a popular destination for bicycle touring! Authentic Adirondack Lodge

Our lodge was originally built in the early 1900s. It is a recognizable cabin located in the heart of the Adirondack Park. It's the perfect place to "escape" the city's summer heat and humidity, or the sheer boredom of a cold winter with nothing to do. You'll find trails to hike in the summer or snowshoe or snowmobile in the winter. There are lakes to swim in and rivers to tube down. And we'll help you find everything you want to make your stay as special as possible.

Larry is a super host. My wife and I and our three boys stayed at the most beautiful, spectacular lodge. We spent a week at the lodge and we are already booking our next stay. The check-in process was painless, Larry had sent me a very detailed message with directions on how to get in and also stopped by so we could meet him. He also sent me links to different hiking areas, lakes, beach areas, and so many more attractions. This was so amazing and very useful. He left his contact information and was super quick to respond when and if we needed something.

When you arrive you see bright orange and white flags so you don’t miss the driveway. The front view of the lodge was mesmerizing. So many sitting options in the front and a nice cozy fire pit and grill in the back. There are woods and a trail behind the lodge. The lodge also is not far from attractions. We stayed here because we wanted to bond with each other and disconnect from technology. We did just that. There are board games as well as outdoor games and a foosball table (kids and I loved this lol). The bedrooms are spacious and there was room for all five of us to sleep comfortably. Bedrooms have TVs and movies you can choose from. The lodge is pet friendly as we brought our dog with us, Charlie. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, fridge, and kitchen appliances we needed.

I mean I can honestly say Larry was amazing, he guided us and told us about all the fun things we could do. He was very responsive. The lodge was super cozy and clean. I highly recommend Larry’s lodge. If you are looking to get away and just relax and enjoy some peaceful time, this is the place. I mean I can go on and on. My family and I really enjoyed our stayed. Thank you so much, Larry. 😊
